Lovely boots, very comfy, sole quality questionable

Initially I was going to give these boots 5 stars. In fact I bought a black pair instore and since I’ve had so much trouble finding orthotic-friendly boots I liked, I bought the tan pair online here as well. Unfortunately the soles/heels are made of rubber, and it’s so soft that after a week of wear both pairs started wearing down at the heel. I’ve taken them to my local cobbler who is putting a harder material over the heels ($67 out of pocket for both pairs). So yeah, love the boots, super comfy, they go with everything but quality….
